
An interactive web resource that examines Israel’s security needs in the pursuit of a two-state solution. The Two-State Security initiative entered its second year with an expanded array of resources to promote the message of a long-term two-state vision consistent with the security needs of the State of Israel. Two-State Security’s multimedia aspect grew significantly, with a new website, as well as video resources like The Next 50 Years, a series of interviews with retired high-ranking Israeli security officials. In 2017, Israel Policy Forum released its “briefing book,” a condensed, 24-page version of the policy recommendations released by Commanders for Israel’s Security, with proposals on Israeli security, separation and Palestinian contiguity, and regional integration. Many of these policy ideas were showcased in a major event in February in New York, as well as at subsequent panels across the country.
