A Message From the Steering Committee

(February, 2019)

As a native Angelino, I have always admired our city’s vibrant culture and diverse young adult community. However, I have often found that there are limited outlets to connect with like-minded peers. As the Founding Chair of IPF Atid Los Angeles, I have been incredibly inspired by the eagerness of our community to come together around Israel-focused programming. Through our work, we have fostered healthy dialogue and promoted actionable ways to support and advance a two-state solution. We are particularly proud of the values in which we execute our mission including:

  • Productive Dialogue: IPF Atid strives to create a space that promotes straight forward discussions about the issues that matter most. At a time when the news cycle is cluttered with misinformation and confusion, we promise transparent conversations that welcome different points of view and the free exchange of ideas.
  • Community: Our Los Angeles cohort connects dynamic, young professionals with programming that is social, educational and wide spanning. We collaborate with both local organizations and international institutions like OneTable, OneVoice, RAND – and we are always looking for more.
  • Actions-Oriented: IPF Atid is uniquely focused on achieving a viable two-state solution by promoting pragmatic steps we can take to help further our mission. Our goal is to empower our peers to understand the impact each of us can make and mobilize action based on credible and nuanced research.

As IPF Atid Los Angeles continues through our first full calendar year, we’d love to hear from those in our community as we look to build new partnerships. Whether for coffee meet-ups with members of our Steering Committee or by phone with our volunteer and professional team, I invite you to be in touch!
