Join Young Professionals in Foreign Policy and Israel Policy Forum’s IPF Atid to hear about next-generation Israeli and Palestinian perspectives on the impacts and potential consequences of annexation of the West Bank. We will hear from two speakers on their perspectives as well as open it up to attendees for questions.

Shaqued Morag has served as the executive director of Shalom Achshav (Peace Now in Israel) for the past two years. During this time she has presided over Peace Now’s campaigns on the Nation-State Law, bringing accountability to bodies behind settlement outposts, the 40th Anniversary of the Israel-Egypt Peace Treaty, and most recently the fight to prevent annexation. Before joining Shalom Achshav, she served in senior positions in the Meretz party, including as the party’s interim Secretary-General and as an adviser to MK Michal Rozin. Previously, she served as the community coordinator in Jerusalem for Mahapach-Taghir, a grassroots Israeli Jewish-Palestinian organization for social change, where she is now a member of the Executive Committee.

Rawan Odeh, a Palestinian American, is the Managing Co-Director of New Story Leadership (NSL), a leadership development incubator for Palestinian and Israeli change agents. Odeh lived half her life in New York and the other half in Nablus, Palestine. Rawan holds a BA degree in Accounting from An Najah National University. She participated in NSL as a Delegate in 2017. Since then, Rawan has worked with Women’s World Banking Investments in the MENA region. Afterwards, she went on a fellowship with Kings College London and published research on the Economic Aspects of the Palestinian Israeli Conflict.
