Event Details
The Jewish community has become increasingly polarized, as well as disengaged from Israel and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, making it sometimes impossible to have productive, meaningful conversations. The community turns to its rabbis for answers and spiritual guidance, asking them to both have a clear position as well as hold a multiplicity of perspectives. As community leaders and educators, rabbis have a unique opportunity to lead the way in advancing a more nuanced, policy-oriented, and educational discourse that is rooted in Jewish texts and Zionism.
This full day symposium will provide an opportunity to learn from policy experts in the field, be in discussion with fellow rabbis across denominations, and strategize the best techniques for managing challenging conversations about Israel.
