IPF Atid New York— Challenging Injustice: Itach Ma'aki's Fight for Women's Rights in Israel

Please join IPF Atid New York for a briefing from Netta Loevy, the Director of Policy Advocacy at Itach-Ma’aki Women Lawyers for Social Justice. Netta will discuss Itach-Ma’aki’s work on implementing United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace, and Security, which acknowledges the disproportionate and unique impact of armed conflict on women and girls. She will also highlight how Itach-Ma’aki is working to advance the rights of disenfranchised Arab and Jewish women, amplify the voices of these women in public and policy discourse, and the role of women within the pro-democracy protest movement.
