Eli Reiter (New York) is a Brooklyn-based educator, writer, and storyteller who has won the Moth Storyslam three times. His essays have appeared in the New York Times, Tablet, Slate, The Washington Post, and The NY Daily News, among other outlets. He has taught storytelling, STEM, English, and History in a variety of places, from schools and museums to homeless shelters. He also hosts Jewish-centered events ranging from a Muslim Jewish storytelling series to events sponsored by Moishe House. He hopes to build a wider pluralistic Jewish community with Shtibel, the intentional community he founded.
