David Goodstone (Chicago)

David Goodstone is a senior communications strategist in the Office of the General Secretary at Rotary International, and supports the work of Rotary’s Peace Centers. His writing has been published in outlets including Newsweek, Time, & National Geographic. Before joining Rotary, David worked for the Israeli Foreign Ministry from 2010-2015, in Jerusalem and San Francisco, contributing to the first resolution at the United Nations on Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Development, and the first Memorandum of Understanding signed between Israel and California. In 2011, he worked at the Henry Jackson Society in London, authoring individual profiles for Al-Qaeda in the United States: A Complete Analysis of Terrorism Offenses, the most in-depth study of the subject ever published, which profoundly altered the understanding of terror threats. He holds a B.A. from the University of Oxford and a master’s from the University of London.
