Daniel Maland (Miami) is an attorney based in Florida. As a member of Kozyak Tropin & Throckmorton’s complex litigation group, Daniel’s practice focuses on representing both plaintiffs and defendants in bet-the-company litigation. Daniel’s experience includes federal receiver representation, white collar criminal defense, and assisting clients with government investigations. Daniel is a member of the Florida Bar’s Digital Currency and Blockchain Taskforce and consults on emerging technologies, with a focus on cybersecurity, blockchain, distributed ledger technologies, and smart contracts.  Daniel regularly engages in civil rights-related pro bono initiatives and recently completed his term as a Shepherd Broad fellow with the AJC.
