Cassie Garvin is the intergroup relations and Israel affairs manager of the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) of the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle. In this role, Cassie helps lead the JCRC’s efforts to strengthen and expand relationships with other faith and minority groups and to deepen understanding of Israel within and beyond the Jewish community. She also supports the JCRC’s work to build a more cohesive Jewish community and address issues of communal concern through advocacy, convening, and consensus-building. Cassie is a graduate of Wesleyan University with a B.A. in Government and History. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Cassie worked in the film industry in LA before moving back to Seattle and joining the Federation in 2016.
