Monica Azhdam (Washington, D.C.) is a non-profit and advocacy professional focused on diplomacy, communications, and leadership development. In her current role, Monica empowers a global network of young leaders to become international advocates through global diplomacy, congressional advocacy, and intergroup coalition building. Monica earned her B.A. in International Relations and International Development and Conflict Management at the University of Maryland. Monica has volunteered with Vital Voices, Girl Security, HIAS, and the University of Maryland Alumni Association. Beyond professional life, Monica is passionate about sharing diaspora stories through creative mediums.
