Joshua Sayles (Miami, FL) has served as the Director of JewishCommunity Relations and Government Affairs for the Greater Miami Jewish Federation since October 2020. In this role, he advocates for policies and funding critical to the Miami-Dade Jewish community, with a specific focus on combating anti-Semitism and supporting Israel. He also builds broad coalitions with diverse community partners to address local issues and strengthen Miami Dade as a whole. Prior to Josh’s role in Miami, he served as Director of Community Relations for the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, where notably he served on their crisis management team in response to the shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue. A journalist by trade, Josh holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis.
