
Kate Chavez is the Co-Director of High School Affairs. She works diligently to support the StandWithUs High School team across North America and focuses on increasing comprehensive and quality education about the Jewish community in schools across the U.S. Kate is a proud Mexican Jew, passionate about public service, international relations, and fighting antisemitism. Kate has held fellowships, internships, and leadership positions with Masa Israel Journey, Israel Policy Forum, the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, the Jewish Democratic Council of America, and the United States House of Representatives, among others. She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Sonoma State University. In college, Kate was elected as the Executive Vice President of Associated Students and advocated on behalf of 9,400 students.
