Daniel Bral is a first-generation Jewish Iranian American human rights attorney. He received his bachelor’s degree from UCLA and his J.D. from Loyola Law School, where he served as Executive Editor of Loyola’s International and Comparative Law Review and became a published international law author for his article on Israel’s Nation State Law. Daniel is also a political and policy advisor: he’s currently advising Rep. Karen Bass’s mayoral campaign on housing policy; recently served as campaign manager for Rob Wilcox, candidate for Los Angeles City Controller; and worked for Mayor Garcetti as part of his homelessness policy team. Daniel has been deeply engaged in Jewish and nuanced Israel advocacy as Chair of Progressive Zionists of California, and co-chair of the 2021 Charles Bronfman IPF Atid Convener Cohort. Daniel is also a California Democratic Party Delegate, initially appointed by Assemblymember Richard Bloom and re-appointed by Secretaries Melahat Rafiei and Diana Love.
