Simon Handler, Washington, D.C.

Simon Handler is a 2020 Charles Bronfman Convener and a fellow with the Atlantic Council’s Cyber Statecraft Initiative, within the Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security. He previously served as a special assistant in the United States Senate, where he covered foreign policy. He was a congressional fellow with the Wilson Center’s Congressional Cybersecurity Lab and Congressional Artificial Intelligence Lab and completed the East-West Center’s Congressional Staff Program on Asia. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in international relations and global studies from the University of Texas at Austin and is currently receiving his masters from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service.
