About the Event

Israel Policy Forum is thrilled to celebrate the leadership and guidance of Martin S. Indyk during our annual tribute event being held in person at The Plaza Hotel this year, on December 7, 2022 at 6pm.

We hope that you will join us in honoring Martin at this year’s event, which will return to the format of our pre-COVID events, with cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres followed by a formal program.

The evening will include a celebration of the fifth anniversary of IPF Atid, Israel Policy Forum’s young professionals community. IPF Atid inspires conversations and fosters connections among the next generation of Jewish professionals in support of our vision of a Jewish, democratic, and secure Israel.

2022 Honoree

Ambassador Martin S. Indyk

We are truly fortunate to have Martin as a member of Israel Policy Forum’s board of directors and as Convener of our Advisory Council, bringing his insight, expertise, and passion to Israel Policy Forum’s vision of a Jewish, democratic, secure Israel. Martin’s illustrious career includes service as U.S. ambassador to Israel from 1995 to 1997 and again from 2000 to 2001. He also served as special assistant to President Bill Clinton and senior director for Near East and South Asian affairs at the National Security Council (1993–95) and as Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs in the U.S. Department of State (1997–2000). He served as the U.S. special envoy for the Israeli- Palestinian negotiations from July 2013 to June 2014, and is currently a distinguished fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York. Martin is also the author of three books, including Innocent Abroad: An Intimate Account of American Peace Diplomacy in the Middle East, Bending History: Barack Obama’s Foreign Policy, and most recently, Master of the Game: Henry Kissinger and the Art of Middle East Diplomacy.

IPF Atid

Founded in 2017 with generous seed funding from the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Philanthropies, IPF Atid inspires conversations and fosters connections among the next generation of Jewish professionals in support of our vision of a Jewish, democratic, and secure Israel. IPF Atid now has six chapters across the U.S., a leadership network of 150+ young leaders, an annual Charles Bronfman Conveners cohort, an annual Delegation to the region, an undergraduate policy fellowship, and many more initiatives and partnerships which inspire change and hope for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the Jewish community. The IPF Atid community looks forward to more growth in the coming year and is grateful to the entire Israel Policy Forum family without whom their work would not be possible.
