
Matthew Fassler is managing member of The Winterbottom Group LLC. Previously, he served as Chief Strategy Officer of XPO Logistics, a Fortune 500 logistics firm, overseeing the company’s strategy, capital structure, and analysis of growth opportunities. Prior to joining XPO in 2018, he spent more than 20 years at Goldman Sachs in Global Investment Research, the last decade as a managing director and the business unit leader for the consumer sector. In his time on Wall Street, he was broadly recognized as a thought leader and trusted adviser to the investment community and the C-suite. Matt engages actively in civic and non-profit endeavors. Most recently, he was an AJC LEAD Fellow, and partnered with a non-profit CEO through the GreaterNY program. He previously served on the boards of the Coro New York Leadership Center and The Children’s Aid Society College Prep Charter School, and has been involved with Israel Policy Forum for more than 15 years. He was a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Matt graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in History. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife, Mandy Greenfield, a theater producer, and their two sons.
