Dana Wechsler Linden, a journalist, has been engaged in philanthropic activities related to Israel since 2001, when the Wechsler Family Foundation jointly founded the Institute for Contemporary Affairs, part of the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, the Israeli think tank. Dana serves on ICA’s steering committee. The Wechsler Family Foundation also jointly founded NGO Monitor, the Jerusalem-based research institute. Dana is on the board of REPORT, a U.S. 501c3 that provides grants to NGO Monitor. In 2012, Dana helped create the Israel Forum at the Jewish Community Center in Manhattan, and is on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the JCC. As a journalist, Dana wrote on personal health for the Wall Street Journal, was co-author of the book Preemies: The Essential Guide for Parents of Premature Babies, published by Simon and Schuster, was co-creator of the mobile app MyPreemie, and was a Senior Editor of Forbes magazine. She graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Business School. She lives in NYC with her husband. They have two daughters.
