Alisa Levin, co-founder of the market leading boutique legal search firm, Greene-Levin- Snyder, is an executive recruiter specializing in partner and senior level searches. Prior to founding the firm, Alisa was a bankruptcy and restructuring lawyer at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton and White & Case. She began her legal career as a law clerk to Chief Judge Charles D. Breitel of the New York Court of Appeals. Alisa has held numerous leadership positions at the UJA – Federation of NY including Chair of the Annual Campaign and Chair of the Commission on the Jewish People. She now chairs the International Planning and Allocations Committee. Her involvement in the Jewish Community also includes positions on the Executive Committee of the Jewish Community Relations Counsel of New York and the Board of Directors of Honeymoon Israel. Alisa is dedicated to Brooklyn. She was on the board of Congregation Beth Elohim in Park Slope, and her many civic involvements include serving as inaugural co-chair of the Artists’ Circle campaign at the Brooklyn Academy of Music and as founder of the Lawyer Partnership at the Brooklyn Bureau of Community Service. An avid supporter and life trustee of the Berkeley Carroll School, Alisa was president of its board for five years. Alisa is a graduate of the Joint Program between Columbia and Jewish Theological Seminary and St. John’s University Law School, where she was Editor in Chief of the Law Review. Alisa lives in Park Slope, Brooklyn with her husband, Charles Nathan.
