Israel Policy Forum congratulates President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris on their victory. We particularly applaud the historic election of our first female Vice President. We wish them four years of success and look forward to Americans uniting behind them to address all of our country’s challenges.

President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris unambiguously support the historically bipartisan position of a two-state outcome to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and oppose unilateral West Bank annexation, consistent with Israel Policy Forum’s own vision of a secure, Jewish, democratic Israel. We hope that the new administration puts this vision into practice by continuing to safeguard Israel’s security as previous administrations have done, working with Israelis and Palestinians to improve conditions on the ground and create an environment conducive to a two-state agreement, and building upon the Trump administration’s success in furthering normalization between Israel and its neighbors. As always, we commit to working with and supporting any administration and Member of Congress, regardless of party, to further our goal of a two-state outcome in order to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and allow Israelis and Palestinians to have their national aspirations met.
