Israel Policy Forum is thrilled to honor E. Robert Goodkind, a determined advocate for a two-state solution that maintains Israel’s security and its identity as a Jewish, democratic state. As Israel Policy Forum’s Vice Chair, Bob has engaged communal leaders in grappling with core issues related to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, including diplomatic efforts in the region, foreign policy, and Israel-Diaspora relations. Bob is a true champion of our mission and beloved by all who have the opportunity to work with him.

All under-40 guests will receive complimentary access to the event and are encouraged to make a suggested annual contribution of $180 or more to Israel Policy Forum. IPF Atid young professionals dessert reception to begin at 8:30PM.

E. Robert Goodkind has served as President of the American Jewish Committee and Chairman of the Boards of the Jewish Museum, the Jewish Foundation for the Righteous, and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

He serves on the Executive Committee of the Jewish Broadcasting Service and as a member of the Board of Repair the World. Until recently he served on the Board of the Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts for more than twenty years. He was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree by Hebrew College in 2005, was the recipient of AJC’s Distinguished Leadership Award in 2007, and the Blue Card Richard C. Holbrooke Award for Social Justice in 2012. Bob served as Chair of AJC’s Jacob Blaustein Institute for the Advancement of Human Rights (2007-2014) and presently serves on the Steering Committee of the AJC led Jewish Religious Equality Coalition (J-REC). Bob is a partner in the New York law firm of Pryor Cashman LLP and he is a graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Law School.

Sir James Wolfensohn

Sir James Wolfensohn served as President of the World Bank Group (1995-2005) and held the post of Special Envoy for the Gaza disengagement for the Quartet on the Middle East (2005-06). He has been an active member of several boards, including Carnegie Hall, the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington DC, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, the Rothschild Foundation, and the Rockefeller Foundation, among other organizations. Sir James is the recipient of many national and international medals and awards in recognition of his public service and his support for the arts, including the 2017 Carnegie Medal of Philanthropy. He is currently Chairman of Wolfensohn & Company, LLC, and was previously Chairman of Citigroup International’s Advisory Board (2006-2014)

Tzipi Livni

Tzipi Livni is Head of the Hatnua Party and Co-leader of the Zionist Union. MK Livni has held posts as Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chief Negotiator in the peace negotiations with the Palestinians in 2008 and 2013, and Minister of Justice. Livni was also a member of the National Sercurity Cabinet and the Senior Security Cabinet during the Second Lebanon War, Operation Cast Lead, and Operation Protective Edge. Previously, Livni served in the Mossad and as Director General of the Government Companies Authority. She is a member of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, and head of the Subcommittee for International Legal Warfare.
