Despite the tendency to denote any simulation exercise on security issues a "war game," the recent simulation designed and held at INSS did not focus on the option of a military attack. Rather, it developed the scenario of a bilateral US-Iranian negotiation over Iran's nuclear program.

Earlier today, IPF National Scholar Steve Spiegel interviewed Gadi Baltiansky about Netanyahu's speech on Sunday at Bar Ilan University and the future of the peace process. Baltiansky noted that Netanyahu's acknowledgement of the possibility of a future Palestinian state is due to his fear of Obama and that the US should take advantage of this to push the peace process forward.
